Adventure Mine

A walk through the Adventure Mine provides the opportunity to experience copper mining as it truly was in the 1800’s. View the world’s greatest copper district -- actually underground wearing a simple hardhat with a headlamp to light your way. Three distinct tours are offered: a 45-minute underground walk, a one-hour-and-20-minute underground hike, and a three-hour underground tour that includes rappelling down an 80’ shaft. See large underground stopes and in-place copper specimens as well as other features and remnants resulting from years of mining operations. Knowledgeable guides are provided for each tour. The company store/gift shop offers drinks and snacks, local copper and mineral specimens, and books, toys, jewelry, various articles of clothing, and more. The Adventure Mine will be the highlight of your Copper Country vacation. Adventure Mining Company is hosting the first annual Miner’s Revenge Mountain Bike Race.
